One of SoundOn Indonesia's musicians, Fabio Asher, won the "Best Newcomer" award at Anugerah Musik Indonesia 2022 as well as nominated for "Best Male Pop Artist". Fabio Asher won this award because of what he was able to achieve through his music in 2022.
His first single "Bertahan Terluka", which was released in February reached #2 on Spotify Top 200 Indonesia and #1 on Spotify Viral Top 50 Indonesia. Additionally, it reached #1 on Spotify Viral Top 50 Malaysia and #1 on Spotify Viral 50 Global! His success also tipped over to other DSPs! It managed to reach #1 on Apple Music Top 100 Indonesia and #5 on Apple Music Top 100 Malaysia. Overall, "Bertahan Terluka" generated a total of +127M streams and the virality of his song on TikTok produced +1.6M unique videos.
Then in May, Fabio Asher released his follow up single "Rumah Singgah" which later reached #2 on Spotify Top 200 Indonesia and #6 on Spotify Viral 50 Indonesia. Similar to his first single, Fabio Asher managed to enter official charts in neighboring countries such as reaching #2 on Spotify Viral 200 Malaysia and #3 on Spotify Viral Top 50 Malaysia. On Apple Music, he managed to reach #3 on Apple Music Top 100 Indonesia and #1 on Apple Music Top 100 Malaysia. "Rumah Singgah" generated a total of +138M streams and +734K unique videos on TikTok.
Fabio Asher closed 2022 with the release of his double-single "Hati Lain Di Hatimu" and "Akhir Yang Manis". With "Hati Lain Di Hatimu", he managed to reach #35 on Apple Music Top 100 Indonesia and Malaysia. Both singles earned a total of +8M streams.
